Food Trip 5 - Turon

Turon usually comes along with bananacue and camotecue.  Some people prefers turon because it is a bit cheaper compared with bananacue and perhaps they are also attracted with the crunchy lumpia wrapper and a taste of ripe of langka (nangka).

There are restaurants that offer turon, likewise.  Though you may not find the usual bulky size of turon in your favorite bananacue stand, the size of a turon in a restaurant is a bit smaller and with a higher price.  Some of these upgraded turons depart from the traditional preparation and they added more stuff like ube, camote, leche flan, to name a few.

It is always fun to try new stuff which you think you might have grown familiar with.  You might never know what will surprise you in the process.
